OUR STORY
Doc and Bubba’s opened as a reimagined, full-service upscale restaurant and barcreated by Jim and Deb Radwanski in the summer of 2022.
Nestled along the winding backroads of Mohnton, this location has long-held nostalgia for the family.
Growing up, Jim and his parents would stop in for a bite at Eshleman’s Restaurant after taking care of the family’s horses at the stables down the road. It quickly became aweekly tradition during horse show season.
When the restaurant changed owners and was renamed to B&B Tavern, that tradition lived on.
Then, once, Jim met Deb on a blind date-they shared some of their first dates together there.
As the years went by, the name on the sign out front changed and their family grew-but that welcoming environment inside always remained.
Now, they’re ready to welcome you-inside or out-for an unforgettable experience of your own at Doc and Bubba’s.

THE MEANING BEHIND OUR NAME
Every restaurant has a name. But-what’s with ours?
It’s actually quite simple. Doc and Bubba’s is named for us-the Radwanski Family.
Debi is the “Doc.” She’s literally earned it-and holds a Ph.D. in health administrationand medical imaging.
As for Bubba-well, that’s been a family nickname for years.
The story goes-one day, Jim started calling our son, J.P.,“Bubba”-and it just stuck.
Now, a whole lot more of us have taken to it. So, don’t besurprised if we start calling you that, too, around here.
